There are two main camps ways a designer works to complete a project, efficiently or effectively. Some check the process boxes as they go. Others act like fine artists, taking their time ignoring business needs.
Early in my career, I struggled and sought to perfect efficiencies. While this made me fast, I was missing something. As my skill matured, I looked for ways to be effective. No longer was I satisfied merely making attractive designs, I wanted to make designs that made a difference, generated leads, and increases sales.
